Lyric Search is a web browser used to search for lyrics, tab and chord charts from online sources.It has been designed as a companion app for Lyric Pad. and can output retrieved data as simple plain text files or as plain text files with Lyric Pad 2 formatting.Features of Lyric Search include:- automatic search for song duration data- integration into lyric pad 2- automatic detection of current lyric pad 2 lyrics folder (for save location)- template database that can be updated from server- ability to set lp2 font options during file creationThe primary function of this app is to create Lyric Files for use in Lyric Pad from online data sources. I have been Using Lyric pad and search for updating my song list when I'm playing with the band. Very easy to use and maintain. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for this type of app. I have it on my computer at home and my tablet. The search is very quick and concise giving numerous options to down load. I use Metrolinx the most and have had really good results. For any singer in a bad, Karaoke singer or someone who just likes to sing this is a great tool to keep you on line with the proper lyrics. I'm still adding to my list constantly. The set list is also a great added feature.
Fixed problems I wa having!
Excellent program for musicians. I've recommended it to several friends. I would note that the new update 12/18 is defective (Azlyric) and needs a fix. The program prior to 12/18 works fine if you don't update. 1/4 Problem fixed.
